BLACK PEPPER

Oleoresin Black Paper is the solvent extract of dried ground berries of Piper Nigrum of Sri Lankan origin.  The olive green liquid pourable at ambient temperature when uniformly mixed is slightly warm and has a pleasant odour with a pungent biting sensation to taste with the characteristic aroma of fresh ground black pepper berries.

 

  PRODUCT QUALITY

Chemical characteristics : Piperine & volatile oil - tolerance +/- 1%.  Residual solvent - less than 25 ppm.

Spice equivalent : 1 kg of product replaces 6-10 kg of good grade ground pepper depending on the specification.

In addition, we also supply products to meet specific customer requirements.

Dispersibility : Disperses well on dry carriers such as salt or dextrose.

Diluents : Permitted food grade diluents or emulsifiers.

Microbiology : Free from micro-organisms and their their toxic metabolites.

Packing : 20 kg / 40 lb HDPE pails or as per customer requirement.

Shelf life : 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored below 25 C in closed containers away from direct light and not under humid conditions.

The supplies will be accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet if requested.
