The expertise of our farmers run generations back. They are the backbone of ‘EOAS’ and the masters of cultivation. Just as each estate, all Small Farmer Units are separated by having their cultivation pattern in different farming systems and production, and have been certified by the Control Union certification body.

Olaboduwa Small Farmer Unit

Spread across 76 hectares of nutrition rich soil, Olaboduwa Small Farmer Unit specializes in producing Coconuts. 19 farmers follow completely organic methods in order to manufacture Ecocert Certified products for the demanding markets.

Dedigama SmallFarmer Unit

Specialized in cultivating the most amount of crops; Dedigama Small Farmer Unit earned its quality certification under Bio Suisse, Naturland and Fair Trade programmes. 90 farmers cultivate pepper, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, clove and turmeric across 66.6 hectares of farming lands.

Walasmulla SmallFarmer Unit

Acting as one of the three major estates of ‘EOAS’, Walasmulla Estate specializes in cultivating citronella across 21.4 hectares of Small Farmer Unit soil.

Naththandiya SmallFarmer Unit

Known as the giant of ‘EOAS’ Small Farmer Units, Nattandiya exclusively specializes in cultivating coconut. 13 farmers are allocated to cultivate on 116.2 hectares of fresh soil.

Monaragala SmallFarmer Unit

Spread across 34.4 hectares of organic farming land, Monaragala Small Farmer Unit is specialized in cultivating lime, lemon and turmeric. 9 farmers are independent to look after the crops and harvest them for the manufacturing process.

Galgamuwa SmallFarmer Unit

The Galgamuwa Small Farmer Unit spreads across 28.6 hectares of greenery. The crops are attended and harvested by 47 farmers around the clock. The plantation specializes in cultivating moringa, gotukola and vetiver.

Theldeniya SmallFarmer Unit

Teldeniya Small Farmer Unit specializes in pepper and is known as one of the two main producers that are specialized in cultivating nutmeg, cloves and ginger for ‘EOAS’ essential oils and oleoresins. The unit spreads across more than 40 hectares of farming land and is attended by 46 experts continuously.

Middeniya SmallFarmer Unit

Spread across 41.9 hectares of southern soil, Middeniya Small Farmer Unit specializes in growing pepper and citronella for ‘EOAS’. 52 farmers use their expertise in cultivating and harvesting the crops promptly.

Koslanda SmallFarmer Unit

The Galgamuwa Small Farmer Unit spreads across 28.6 hectares of greenery. The crops are attended and harvested by 47 farmers around the clock. The plantation specializes in cultivating moringa, gotukola and vetiver.

Walallawita SmallFarmer Unit

Spread across 63.4 hectares of farming land, Walallawita Small Farmer Unit is the giant of cinnamon production at ‘EOAS’. Each batch of harvest is extracted by a group of 33 excellent farmers.

Weligepola SmallFarmer Unit

With the help of 11 farmers across 42 hectares of well-nourished soil, Weligepola stands the only exclusive unit that produces harvest for lemongrass based products at ‘EOAS’.

Mawathagama Small Farmer Unit

Mawathagama Small Farmer Unit stands exclusive in producing vanilla based products under the wings of ‘EOAS’.
